Planting Trees at Manor Park
Two planting days have been held at the Manor Park re-forestation area on 25 June and 29 July. Nine of our parishioners attended and have been involved in planting twenty Kowhai trees with another ten to plant.
A big thank you to all who have nurtured these young trees and helped with planting. About 400 native trees and flaxes have been planted in this area. Suitable trees for continued planting have been suggested by Russell Bell. These are: Manuka, Kanono, Five Fingers and Koromiko.
